First held in 1977 and focused solely on sailboats, the renowned festival has evolved over the years, continuously elevating the experience for guests. Prestigious partners such as Mercedes-Benz, Roche Bobois, and Louis Roederer, enabled the festival to offer exclusive VIP services and luxury experiences. Other partners, including Yamaha, Mercury, and Pantaenius, contributed to another memorable edition of the festival.
Located on the sunkissed shores at Cannes’ two ports, Vieux Port and Port Canto, the festival showcased over 700 boats with nearly 610 exhibitors in attendance as they displayed innovative features and new products. Vieux Port hosted prestigious new yachts and motorboats, acting as the stage for world premieres from leading international shipyards. Port Canto showcased sailing yachts in one area and displayed pre-owned yachts for guests to purchase or charter. For the 2024 edition, attendees explored new features including a brand-new marina situated inside Port Canto. This marina was specifically reserved for motor boats up to 12-13 meters long, and allowed visitors the first-ever opportunity to embark on a full tour of Port Canto, see 120 new sailboats, and various equipment manufacturers and service companies for guests to meet. However, the festival is where luxury at sea meets the opulence of Cannes.
